This weekend was a big weekend for Dallas....when G.O.O.D Music artist Big Sean visited the home of Americas Team, he couldn't have possibly expected the reception that he would receive. To start off his two stop tour of the city, he initially made a stop in one of the cities dopest sneaker boutiques, Centre, for an in-store meet and greet. Though, he showed up around two hours late (Rapper rule #1), the crowd not only stayed loyal, but actually grew into a relatively nice sized mob. Upon Big Sean and Co Headliner Mickey Factz arrival, the excitement reached a fever pitch and people waited in a line that lead well outside the doors to receive signed mixtapes and posters. He even took the time to talk to individual fans. After a day of getting to know his Dallas fans on a more one on one level, it was time for him to make his way to "Trees" for his performance later that night. The turnout at trees was just as amazing as the one at Centre. Around 300 ppl packed into the nice sized venue for a night teeming with heavy drums, loud lighting, and lots of excess energy. Everyone, including the opening acts impressed; Mickey Factz performance was stellar to say the least, and a surprise performance from the local star Dorrough helped boost an already high energy level. All and all, Big Sean and Mickey Facts visit to Dallas showed that we are receptive to different markets and this will hopefully send more events like this our way. Keep supporting the real Dallas....our time is coming!!!
