Nasagang is an American bred company who prides itself in clocking several North American dollars, but we are definately conasures of the world. With that said, we decided to dedicate our international artist pick to our new found fans in Sweden.
(Yes bitch, Sweden!) Sweden brought us ABBA, which blessed us with the Broadway Musical, Mamma Mia (Yes bitch, Broadway!) , but for thus of us who were born well after the 70's, the Swedes have something new and vibrant to offer us, here in the states. It's newest gift is a ginger haired, dangling earring wearing, leather jacket rocking, soul singer influenced, pop star. Erik Hassle. At 22, he has already taken home several awards, including a Grammi Award for 2009 new comer of the year which happens to be a Swedish equivalent of a Grammy Award. (Big Shit) My 16 year old brother actually brough him to my attention via a tee-voed video he thought I'd be interested in. For once, my brother was right. Hassles music completely took my by surpise, just as his look did, but I definately think that anyone who is a lover of music will enjoy this shit!!! Both "Hurtful" and "Standing Where You Left Me" left me begging for more Swedes to pick up mics and pen R'n'B!
