The Up and Coming-Mr.Cirque (Dallas,TX)

We recently had the oppurtunity to sit down with one of the imfamous faces from Dallas,TX.Whether you seen him foolin on the club scene,heard the smash hit named after him,or heard his own hit (Im Thru) you know who he is.Check out what NASAgang and Mr.Cirque had to talk about.

1.      Being someone who is heavily involved with the party/music scene in Dallas how do you feel about the direction that the Dallas music scene in headed?

-No one can do music like Dallas, we are the boogie nation around here, we created something new for the world and now other states are taking our moves and using them too! I do feel that Dallas music is to gimmick-e though, we need to step outside that zone to make real music, give off real emotion, so people can relate! So I think we need to step our game up, and show other states what we got!  

2.      Who are some of your personal inspirations as an artist?

- K.C. & JoJo, Ginuwine, Monica, Dru Hill, Destiny’s Child, Jagged Edge, Tyrese, Bobby Womack, & Al Green just to name a few!

3.      What made you make the transition from promoter to artist?

-I always use to sing when I was little, I stopped because when you little you tend to listen what people have to say, but now that I’m grown I know it’s a such thing as a hater, and I know I’m not gone be able to satisfy everyone needs! So now I’m just doing me. The transition from a promoter to a artist was easy and I’m glade that I was a promoter first because I know how to promote myself. On the other hand I got back into music because of two wonderful lady’s Brandi Vonne & Braelyn Greenfield (Fantaci) , they put the fire back in me and showed me that I could do this, and I owe them everything for it, because I feel that I’m on my way to success!

4.      Who from Dallas are you currently listening to?

-Braelyn & Brandi, D-Tall, Tomeka Pearl, D’Jo, Treal Lee & Prince Rick just to name a few.

5.    I noticed you had Republik produce your smash single “Im Thru” (5,000+Downloads) any plans on working with more hi making producers?

 -Yeap in the future, but as far as right now I’m going to stick with them because they know me, they know my sound, they know what I’m looking for, and it’s the same way with them. I love those guys they are making me into a artist I never thought I could be, but now I believe! Whenever I get signed they are doing majority of the album, hand down, I got a couple mo tracks from the Republik I don’t think they ready for, I’m Thru was just a beginning for me, things can only get better now!

5.      You also got a B-day coming up…any big plans?

-I think I might go in the Studio and make another hit, That would be the best gift of all!
