I appreciate NASAGANG for reaching out. I want to start off by encouraging everyone to find enjoyment in all that they do. Whether that be cutting the grass, or taking a test; find a positive and run with it.
Firs off I want to thank you for taking the time out of your schedule to sit down in give us a piece of your mind. NASAGANG appreciate it a 1000!!!Tell NASAGANG and the world who you are and what you’re all about?
DaDean: My name is Tajiddin, but most people refer to me as Dean or DaDean. Entrepreneur, producer, and artist, I have my hands on a bunch of different projects right now.
Where do you draw your inspirations from?
DaDean: Musically, I draw my inspiration from my relationships. I am a very passionate person, so it doesn’t take long for me to conjure up feelings about my past present and/or future and illustrate them. As far as my inspiration in life; I get most, if not all, of my daily motivation from my family. My twin brother Bilal “Blogzworth” (you def need to get at that man), and my mother and father, Frank and Sherry Morris. I don’t know many people as motivated to push forward as they are. They’re all truly amazing and I strive everyday to reflect what they represent.
What’s separates you from other?
DaDean: I’m not sure what separates me. Or if I’m separate at all. But I don’t see enough drive, enough determination, and enough flat-out hard work in a lot of people aiming for the top. Too many get caught up in this entitlement mindset, or get discouraged when things aren’t given to them solely based on their efforts. If you want it, go get it.
Coming from New Jersey, Where hip hop has given birth to some of the games top artist. How has Jersey shaped you as an artist and what do you plan on giving back to a region that is rich in hip hop history?
DaDean: Jersey stand up!!! Philly what’s good!!! New York get at me!!! Boston what it do!!!! I just love being from the northeast and having all of these outlets close by. I want to be able to travel a bit more and bring my experiences back to show people that there is so much out there for us to see, smell, touch and taste.
All Smiles, could you explain to NASAGANG what All Smile is all about?
DaDean: ALLSMiLES (always one word). Stands for All Smart Minded individuals Living Every Second. The i remains lowercase. It stands for individual and is never as big as the whole, BUT as an individual amongst the larger whole, you WILL stand out. Which the lowercase i certainly does. Our logo is designed after the lower case i and of course encompasses the smiley face.
